Our curriculum is based on the British EYFS framework and combined with the most successful pedagogies from around the world. A cross-curriculum teaching methodology to ensure every baby or child is prepared and is able to reach his/her full potential in all areas of life; providing the right foundation they need to make the most of their hard and soft skills as they grow up. Early childhood education plays an important role in shaping the type of person the individual infant or child will become. Children develop and learn in different ways, at different speeds and through different methods. We draw from a range of pedagogical practices to enrich children’s holistic learning. We aim to accommodate a school experience where children can comfortably and freely explore their environment to permit development in ways that are natural for every child. Each child is assessed regularly – every lesson is planned with regard to the age and interest of the children.
Our curriculum is a unique blend of multiple pedagogies and approaches, namely the thematic, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, Montessori and Multiple intelligences approaches.
THE THEMATIC APPROACH
Incorporating the Inquiry Process by Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf’s experiential, imitative and sensory-based approach, teachers bring the children through a learning journey that is driven by their interests and a critical thinking process. The teachers act more as a guide/ facilitator and mentor during this process in our thematic discussion.
